Trends in High Performance Computing, Reshaping Modern Reservoir Simulation

This talk presented at the SEG Workshop on High-Performance Computing for Exploration, Reservoir Development, and Energy Transition discussed how the synergy between HPC, numerical simulation, and data-driven AI/ML methods is poised to fundamentally reshape traditional simulation workflows and enable new ones across engineering fields. This talk explored some of these ideas within the context of reservoir simulation.
